An October post

It's my favourite time of year!! I love this cold weather. I've been hoarding a couple drawings... sorry for lack of recent updates. Hope you like! Here's some Harry Potter fanart, an Iron Giant fanart, Edward Scissorhands, and some original characters (the shirtless dude is a commission off deviantart.com). The African Girl is actually over a year old but I still haven't gotten around to colouring it so thought I'd post it in here. Blue col-erase, ball point pen, and Photoshop for colours, EXCEPT the Bellatrix drawing (the witch lady) was drawn and coloured in Sketchbook Pro (SO IN LOVE WITH SBP) I hope I can get around to colouring a couple of these in the future.

Other News: My film is being screened at a festival in Alberta (GIRAF5) on November 8th so if you're in the neighbourhood ... REPRESENT!

ron + ginny

really crap ass drawing I did in Flash... despite how sloppy and bad this is I really like it, mostly because of the attitude in it I guess, and I want Ron's sweater

anyway this is reference to the part in half blood prince where Ron and Ginny are constantly fighting because Ginny got wicked hot and all the guys love her and Ron still hasn't had a girlfriend. and is a loser. hahhaha

OK bottom two were drawn on Cintiq, the guy is my character Prince from an upcoming comicccccc and the girl is just whoever, the top tradtional drawing is from a commission that's on hold right now. I gotta do some changes to the drawing and I'll be cleaning up and colouring it so I'll post it later.

Some rough ladies and birdies and Doug

Ok so I trouble-shooted..shot whatever my scanner for about FOUR HOURS last night. Still don't know why it's screwed. But hooked up my 4+ year old Canon scanner and managed to get it to work magically. Here are some rough drawings, done at varying times over the past two months or so. Most of the girls I drew from pictures on www.deviantart.com but reworked them into my own style type of thingy I guess. Lots of new stuff coming soon since I can finally scan it :)
